This is a beginner-oriented meet. Come out and see what Orienteering is about. We will have "white" and "yellow" courses for young orienteers and those new to the sport. For those that have experience with topography maps or need a refresher, we will have an "orange" course. No advanced courses for this meet.

Wendell Moore Park is a mostly open park, so you can navigate safely and can reorient yourself when needed.

You may come and start a course anytime between 2PM and 4PM. You must report back to the finish so we know you have returned (when we start packing up, don't make us come looking for you).

We'll be offering 3 courses: - White - Easiest - Navigate trails using a trail map (no bushwhacking required) - Yellow - Can utilize trails a lot, but you'll need to know when to leave the trail to find points not far off the trail, or use non-trail handrails (like a stream) to get around. - Orange - You'll need modest off-trail skill

If you've never done this before, we'll have a volunteer available at 2PM to give a beginner's clinic.
