Mt Hood Orienteering’s first scatter-O competition explores the 4.75 square-kilometer area of SW Portland west of the Stonehenge radio/TV tower. For this scatter-O event, find all but one or two virtual control sites on your map in any order (you decide which ones to skip). You have a choice of a short, a long, or a long bike course and you must finish your course within 3 hours or 2 PM, whichever occurs first (this should easily be more time than required to complete your course). Each solo competitor or team will use a phone with the MapRun app installed on it for timing and to record the controls found.
