Please share a link to this event with your friends and family - everyone is welcome! Please contact me directly to discuss special arrangements for scouts, school, J/ROTC, youth, corporate, wedding parties, and other groups.

There will be course for all levels (c'mon out, newbies!!). Printing instructional materials will be available, although this will be structured more like an actual event and without the usual CoNav-clever training/practice elements. There will be no timing or scoring provided, so, rest assured, no need to sweat it as though it's any sort of 'race.'

The map (Sprint spec) features some great fine and coarse terrain navigation, highly detailed scrub oak mapping, and a touch of developed area to wrassle with.

HQ area: United States Air Force Academy, just W of the Soccer stadium. Enter USAFA at the North Gate and then follow these instructions: North Gate to Soccer Stadium

GETTING ON BASE, WITH SPECIAL ACCESS REQUIREMENTS FOR NON US-CITIZENS:
Please visit Getting On Base for information about getting on base. There is a separate procedure for non-US Citizens accessing USAFA. If you are interested in attending and are not a US Citizen, please read and follow the instructions in step #2 of the link for special procedures you'll need to complete well in advance.

First starts at 9am, last start at 1pm, and courses close at 2pm. Feel free to repeat legs, skip legs, go in reverse control sequence, etc.

Please ensure that a separate registration (waiver and payment, as appropriate) has been completed for every single person in your group, regardless of age, relationship, etc. Re-use/sharing of the map and/or walking any part of a course by unregistered persons is not permitted.

Register for as many courses as you like, just be off your last course and "downloaded" with the Meet Director (Galen) by 2pm.

Select "Competing/Participating," for each "Race" (course map) you wish to go out on. This event is designed for fun, learning, and practice, so please don't be fazed by the use of the word "Race."

No dogs at this event, please. It's generally too hard to handle a puppy and a map at the same time, anyway.

Rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the event may be canceled at the Registrar's discretion (in which case 100% refunds will be issued).

100% refund if you notify me by email (conavgames at gmail dot com) that you will not be attending no later than 8pm the night before the event.

BYO water, snacks. BYO Compass if you want to use one. Compasses and compass instruction will not be provided. There is a handy mountain range to the West and a beautiful modern campus to the East.

I hope you'll be able to attend!
