The 3rd event of the 2024 Nav-X season will take place at Golden Gate, Presidio, & Lands End Parks in San Francisco, CA. We've expanded the map from the 2021 event to include Golden Gate Park and the city streets in between all 3 parks. The start will be in the middle of Golden Gate Park (Hellman Hollow picnic area) with free parking. The map has undergone significant updates as well. The scale will be 1:10000 with 5 meter contours across the whole area. This event will use the app "MapRun" for timing on your own schedule. The competitive window for this event is July 11- September 30. We've extended the window by one month due to the course being unavailable during most of August (Outside Lands Festival). Results during this time period will be included in the official results and accrue Nav-X Challenge series points but the course will still be available on MapRun until 2025 Jan 1, after which it will move to the archived courses. Upon registration, you will receive (1) registration confirmation, (2) within 24 hours, a separate email with links to map documents.
