This event will be focused on skills development for beginning and intermediate orienteers, but experienced orienteers will have fun, too. Everyone is welcome! We'll use the same HQ area as we did for the 07th Jan event, but will be using all-new courses on slightly different areas of the map. Offerings will include a self-guided map-only (no compasses) exercise, a self-guided compass and pace counting exercise, and an Orange (intermediate) course. Free Loaner compasses will be available, just ask for one when you check-in. $15 before 11pm 21Jan $20 through 10th Feb, 8pm $25 thereafter (including day-of registration). Children 12 and younger accompanied by their fully registered parent/legal guardian are FREE! Here's how to register*: -1st, individually register each of your 12-and-unders, signing their waivers for them and skipping the payment part (I'll clear this on my end). -2nd, start all over again to individually register yourself and each of your 13-and-overs including waiver and payment. *Select "Competing/Participating" in the Begintermediate "race" (there is no race or actual competition at this event - just learning and fun). Every participant must have their own, separate registration and waiver. Thank you!
